In attendance Vice Chairman Cllr Ashleigh-Morris, Cllr David Marshall, Cllr Perryman, Cllr Reynolds, District Cllr Ashton And District Cllr Jones & Jules Eales.

3.01 Welcome from Vice Chairman
Diocese update – will address later in meeting,
Pest control to keep issue at hall under control – request cost of regular control.
Introduction of Jules Eales – for co-option.
3.02 Election of Chairman – signing declaration of acceptance of office – Defer to next meeting proposed by Vice Chairman Ashleigh-Morris Seconded Cllr Marshall RESOLVED

3.04 Apologies for absence and reasons given
Cllr Chalmers, Cllr Roome send apologies.
3.05 Co-option of Councillor – should Council have received any written applications.
Introduction to Jules Eales – proposed to co-opt onto council by Vice Chairman Ashleigh-Morris Seconded Cllr Perryman RESOLVED
The council recognised Cllr Eales.
3.06 Declarations of interest and requests for dispensations – in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 – None given
3.07 Draft notes June 21st January 2025 previously distributed to Councillors - resolution to adopt as minutes.
3.08 Reports from District/County Cllrs Tom Ashton and District Cllr Neil Jones.
District Cllr Ashton – discussion following the nuclear waste site at Thedlethorpe. Discussion followed regarding the devolution. LCC budget remains 2.99% increase. Remarks made regarding the Frithville and New York primary school proposed closures.
District Cllr Jones – Welcomed new Cllr, rates risen, 8.46% general parish rise, Langrick not risen. Devolution – condensing of councils still ongoing.
Wind farm (pylons) over Wolds – government decision.
3.09 Finance – resolution for payments shown to date –
Wages January And February - £347, £347
Anglian Water January and February £10, £10
British Gas January - £128.79
British Gas February - £238.30
3.10 Diocese update – an update on the current position with the rental of Langrick Hall.
Discussions followed regarding the diocese and the rental of Langrick Village hall, Chase the village asset with EDLC. Exploration of purchase of hall.
3.11 Clerks report on any correspondence not covered above.
Defibrillators require new pads as all are coming up to expiry or out of date, 3 new sets of pads around £250, new battery required in one (replacement around £230) will check others
