10th January 2022 7pm

One member of public, new to the parish and would like to join in, find out what is happening in the area and volunteer for any little jobs and help around the villages and events. Gentleman was thanked and clerk will be in touch to arrange a clean of the bus shelter on Gipsey Drove.

Agenda

1.11     Welcome from Chairman Cllr Caronne Daft

2.11     Apologies received – reasons heard from Chairman Cllr Neil Jones; proposal to accept Cllr Wood, seconded Cllr Cawthorn all in favour RESOLVED  LCC Councilor Tom Ashton also passed apologies

3.11     No declarations of interest at this point.

4.11     Draft notes previously circulated were proposed as a true and correct record of the meeting held November 15th by Cllr Cawthorn, seconded by Cllr Jones, all in favour RESOLVED Minutes signed and dated by Chairman Cllr Jones.

5.11     District Cllr Neil Jones – sent in a report – Green Waste bin collection charges have been increased to £50 per year, if people sign up for this before February they will be put into a draw for a voucher for free service for one year.

6.11     Finances– Proposal to pay all invoices as listed Cllr Cooper, seconded Cllr Wood all in favour RESOLVED;salary plus invoice Jan/Feb £354 HMRC £88.60; hall electric £25.70; roadside gulleys and footway clearing Armtree Rd/ Gipsey Drove £150; Top soil for finishing hall gardens £513

7.11     Speed reduction Armtree Road/Gipsey Drove/ Meer Booth Road – a reduction to 30mph for parts of these roads has been approved at Lincolnshire County Council, the consultation has ended and no objections to the best of our knowledge have been raised. This scheme will now be on a list to be put in place in the future.

8.11     Employment of contractors to carry out minor works - after discussion it was Proposed that council approach the contractor that painted the call box / village gates and signage to carry out repairs and minor jobs on an as and when required basis; grass cutting and other works to continue as is for now. Proposed Cllr Cooper, all voted in favour.  The clerk requested that Councillors make her aware of any works required to enable a days work be offered when required.

9.11     Platinum Jubilee 5th June 2022 –1950s style tea party will be held in the hall; clerk will work with the ladies and gentlemen of the villages to promote this and celebrate our Queen’s achievement in style. This will be run by the Langrick Matters group.
