Langriville Parish Council 
September 7th council meeting – Langrick Village Hall 
In attendance Chairman Cllr Neil Jones, Vice Chairman, Cllr Duncan Eaton, Cllrs Joy Cawthorn, Cllr Paula Cooper, Cllr Caronne Daft, Cllr David Marshall & Cllr John Wood.

Agenda
1. Welcome from Chairman to all, good to be back around the tables albeit at a distance. 
2. No apologies – resignation from the Vice Chairman who is relocating out of the area, Council will be sad to him go, Cllr Duncan Eaton has been an active member on the Council and has carried out flood warden duties for the past 8 years , Duncan has served on the Council for 10years thank you from all the councillors and clerk. 
3. No declarations of interest at this point. 
4. Draft notes previously distributed to council, Cllr Eaton proposed these as a true and correct record of the meeting held in July 2020 , Cllr Marshall seconded, all voted in favour RESOLVED
5. District Cllr Neil Jones informed the meeting of the amalgamation of East Lindsey & Boston Borough, there will be some restructuring with this move, some officers will be working across the area; this is work I progress and things will be ironed out as the move is implemented.     
County Councillor Tom Ashton reported that his bid to reduce the B1192 through the village to 40mph had been very recently approved following a speed limit review over the past months, plans have been seen by Council. Trials over the last year recycling paper and card have been extremely successful; this may be rolled out further around the county to encourage savings.  Local Government reorganisation initiated by LCC looking at restructuring the Districts to combine with LCC as one body; should this come about there will be difficult decisions to be made regarding the community contact that has seen many successful partnerships locally. 
6. Proposal to accept the lowest quote £500 for the painting of the phone box in Antons Gowt; cllrs questioned the value of taking the lowest quote but overall it was felt the quotes contractors were all of equal standard, seconded all voted in favour, Clerk to contact the contractor. 
7. Finances –Proposal to pay accounts for payment as listed all in favour RESOLVED Defibrillator cabinets x 3 plus two further defibrillators to be purchased with the help of a grant from EL District Councillors plus a top up from LCC covid fund; £4,035 gross; Clerks salary Aug/Sept £333.40, HMRC £83.20, J Roberts grass cutting £70
8. LCC website rebuild to new specifications to include full accessibility cost £200 proposal to upgrade to meet requirements; all in favour RESOLVED
9. Fibre Network for the Community; contract is signed no fixed date for the build from openreach but moving forward.  
No Councillor comments other than to say a massive thank you to Duncan for his service to the community, Chairman closed the meeting and invited all to join in a toast to Duncan & Pauline Eaton and wish them well on their journey!
