Langriville Parish Council Meeting

14th March 2022 7pm

Langrick Village Hall.

In attendance Chairman Cllr Neil Jones, Cllr Joy Cawthorn, Cllr John Wood, Cllr David Marshall & Cllr Nigel Standage

1.12     Welcome from Chairman Cllr Neil Jones

2.12     Apologies and reasons heard from Cllr C Daft, proposed and accepted RESOLVED

3.12     No declarations of interest at this point.

4.12     Draft Notes previously circulated were proposed as a true and correct record of the   meeting held on the 10th January 2022, Cllr Cawthorn, seconded Cllr Standage, all voted in favour RESOLVED Minutes were signed and date by Chairman.

5.12     Reports – District and County Council – Cllr Jones in his capacity as ELDistrict Cllr reported on the introduction of the recycling changes – all households are to get a purple bin to take paper and card only this separation from the cans and other recycling goods, should massively improve the amount of useable paper and card, this has been trialled in North Kesteven and is proving to be beneficial.

6.12     Finances – proposal to pay as listed Cllr Wood, seconded Cllr Cawthorn, all voted in favour RESOLVED. Salary Feb/March £362, HMRC £81, Hall electric £30.54, storm damage, shed repairs & trees £80 – Jubilee items £13.34, LALC annual subscription £148.39, Wave water supplier £361.73 (over charge that they returned to council twice)

7.12        Planning – S/096/00192/22 – Rectory Farm, change of use to form a live and work unit; After much discussion and consideration Council could not see and firm planning considerations for refusing or objecting to this change although there was doubt the application would meet planning criteria. Comments were submitted.

8.12        Highways – ongoing issues with pot holes , roads, footpaths and flytipping contine to be reported, Chairman encouraged councillors to use the Fix my Street website to report these issues alongside the reports from the parish council.

9.12        Date and time for next meeting to be confirmed – 9th May provisional.

Annual Parish Meeting deferred to June.

Meeting closed

Clerk reported the gardens are being worked on to provide as much maintenance free area as possible for future.

Jubilee tea party is being run by Langrick Matters ; max 40 persons seated in the hall first come first served for bookings.
