Langriville Parish Council Meeting
5th September 2023 7pm 
Langrick Village Hall. 
In attendance Chairman Cllr John Wood, Cllr Phil Perryman, Cllr David Marshall, Cllr Nigel Standage.

Agenda 
1.09 Welcome from Chairman Cllr John Wood 
2.09 Apologies and reasons District Cllr Ashton will not be joining meeting prior engagement, Cllr Paula Ashleigh-Morris Absent.
3.09    Draft Notes previously circulated were proposed as a true and correct record of the   meeting held on the 5th September 2023, Chairman Cllr John Wood, seconded Cllr Perryman, all voted in favour RESOLVED minutes were signed and date by Chairman. 
4.09    Speed indicators Report from Cllr Perryman. – update from a repeat of the speed indicators being used at four separate sites in Parish – Gipsey Drove, Armtree road and Meerbooth Road. 
    Ongoing issue of usual 10mph over speed limit, anomaly in recordings suggest possible issue with calibration of speed monitor, Cllr Perryman to check equipment.
5.09    Reports – District and County Council – None present.
6.09    Finances – proposal to pay as listed.

All payments made. RESOLVED. 
7.09    Langrick Hall events – Discussion into the way in which council uses hall, possible events such as train exhibition. Chairman Wood and Cllr Perryman to investigate further and contact potential group if this is something of interest to them.
8.09    Solar powered speed indicators – The councillors discussed the purchase of a permanently fixed solar powered speed indicator for the parish, it was noted that the council could get a grant towards this. Chairman Wood requested this was pursued by the clerk and obtain quotes to go further with the project.
9.09    Village Maintenance – Chairman Wood discussed the white barriers at the bridge near Antons Gowt required attention and that they would be reported on fix my street. It was discussed that the waste bins positioned at Antons Gowt need replacing and this would be reported to those concerned.
10.09    Clerks report on any correspondence not covered above: Clerk reports that the hall bookings are very good, and a good amount of people have regular bookings every week.
    The parish website is fully updated and functional again.

    Next meeting date – Chairman Cllr Wood proposed the next meetings to be held on 21st November 2023, Seconded by Cllr Marshall all in agreement. RESOLVED.
